About the workshop: This workshop covers fun ways to move through whatever time you have one on one with your wedding couples and make some splendid, spontaneous, and artful photographs. We will show attendees how to work with whatever moments and locations they are given and turn them into charming opportunities for beautiful iconic portraits. The bond created between photographer and client is critical. I will show attendees how to connect, cajole, forge and create a relationship and photographs that will live in their clients history.

About Kurt: Always attracted to the fine arts, Kurt studied photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he began developing an aesthetic informed by renaissance painting, modern art and pop culture. Kurt spent his early career making images for advertising clients, with his full-service production company in upstate New York and office in Manhattan. Upon discovering the friendly environs of Chicago, he formed a commercial photography business there in the mid-nineties. After shooting many of his advertising clients' weddings, Kurt found his photography style sought after by many in the business. In 1997, he turned his friendship with Michael Scarpelli into a successful partnership.
